About Me
Introduction
I am a digital artist and animator. My experience is primarily in 3D character animation, though I am also experienced in other areas, such as 2D animation, character design, storyboarding, and video editing. I am proficient in a variety of industry-standard software, including Blender, Maya, ToonBoom Harmony, and Adobe Creative Suite. I have successfully worked on both solo and collaborative projects, developing skills in both teamwork and independent problem solving.
Education
At Sale High School I achieved GCSEs in Media, Art, and Computer Science (on top of core subjects).
At Trafford College I achieved a Level 3 BTEC in Digital Content Creation.
At Manchester Metropolitan University I achieved a BA(Hons) in Animation and created a 5 minute long 3D animated short film as a final project, which can be seen in the '3D Animation' section at my portfolio link above.
Aspiration
I was inspired to start exploring animation by my interest in video games, so I have always been interested in working as a 3D animator in the games industry. Nevertheless, as I have continued to explore animation, I have broadened my areas of interest. Accordingly, I have become more interested in 2D animation, as well as motion & graphic design, TV and film. As a result, my career aspirations are broad, I am primarily interested in working in 3D animation in TV, film, or games, but I am also looking to do 2D animation, illustration, motion design, graphic design, and editing work as well.
